✒️Summary

Sang-Hyun (William) Park is a staff engineer in the Networks business at Samsung Electronics. Prior to joining Samsung Electronics, he received a Ph.D. degree from the School of Integrated Technology at Yonsei University, South Korea, under the supervision of Chan-Byoung Chae, who is an IEEE Fellow.

During his Ph.D. course, he was fully funded by Korea government (Ministry of Science and ICT) and Samsung Electronics. His achievements include being honored with the Gold Prize, Bronze Prize, and Honor Prize at the 29th & 30th Samsung Humantech Paper Awards in 2022 and 2023, respectively, and receiving the CES Innovation Awards in 2023.

His research interests encompass emerging technologies for B5G/6G communications, including mmWave (28/77 GHz) hybrid beamforming, near-field MIMO, and integrated sensing and communications (ISAC).
